Patented Automatic Plastic Release When basket perforations become plugged with plastic, drying times increase and fuel efficiency suffers. Consolidated's optional, patented Plastic Release automatically operates to keep these perforations open for continued maximum efficiency and minimum drying times after other systems (such as fragile synthetic coatings) fail.
Basket Drive Consolidated's proven basket drive uses V-Belts and a self-adjusting, constantly variable tension device keeps the belts properly adjusted. There is no trunnion shaft and the basket is not turned by friction from the support rollers, a system that reduces roller life. Belts and support rollers are outside the sealed heating chamber and thus are not exposed to high temperatures or moisture.
