Dryers: Many Options and Flexibility in Design

CLM has a wide range of single-door and two-door pass through tumble dryers, steam-heated and gas fired, ranging from recommended capacities of 250 lbs. dry weight to 1200 lbs. dry weight.

CLM tumble dryers can be configured with 1-door or 2-doors for pass through processing.  They can tilt back or forward, depending on your needs.  The three main configurations are 1-door with tilt back for loading and tilt forward for unloading (2-way tilt), 2-doors with tilt back only (1-way tilt) or the most flexible 2-door, 2-way tilt that provides the ability to load or unload from either side.

Two-door, two-way tilt provides the most flexibility in loading and unloading.

Along with door and tilt configurations, we offer the flexibility of having the control panel (with burner, blower and exhaust duct) on either the RH or LH side of the machine.  This can reduce installation costs, since utilities and ducting for two dryers can be much closer together (if ordering one dryer with RH control side and another with LH control side, for example).  It may also allow a dryer to be  installed in a location that would not otherwise been possible without  the change in utility and exhaust location.

Additionally, the exhaust ducting, itself, can be located in our normal location, in front (behind the control panel), or to the rear of the dryer.  This offers more choices for lint collector location and adds flexibility to replace any existing dryer.

All models have a simplified control panel that includes the MicroCommand III color touch screen PLC and a few push buttons for tilt position, door position and other manual functions, along with an emergency stop button.
